For those families who can't make it down for the Cannon Beach Family Portrait special in June, the "Portraits in the Park" special is on May 8th & 22nd and will be at a park in Newberg or Dundee. The last day of November I had the privelige of photographing the family of the "best darn soccer managers" in the club. Gary & Kristi are simply amazing people. They informed all the members of the soccer team when anything happened, researched directions to every away game with a map and any pertinent information needed. (Like how far the parking lot was from the playing field.) When they asked me to photograph their family, I was honored to say the least. They wondered if we needed to wait till next spring for the weather to change to take the pictures. Oregon is indeed rainy but I knew we could get a good day to take them. You be the judge, how does their family picture look?!

I had the opportunity to photograph Rennick family on November 7th. The family had only a little over an hour of time and we had to do it at a certain time of day...the only time they would all be together. I told them we could do it. Little did I know that at that exact time we would have thunder, lighting and it would rain as hard as I've seen it in Oregon. Well, it's amazing what can be accomplished with a good attitude and a few umbrellas. In the driving rain, this is what we got...and we didn't have to pay any extra for the "free shower!"

Maternity Portraits

"My first year", or maybe "babies first year" should be the title of the maternity portraits seen here. The first 12 months of mom & her baby's first year starts with mom's maternity portrait (this one with her first child), the first few weeks of the babies life, 6 month old pictures and finally the child's "first walking pictures." Angela completed the maternity portraits than about a week later began experiencing labor pains. Good luck Angela, I'm guessing I'll see her and her new baby in a few weeks!

Wow, what a great wedding celebration/party! I had the privelige of photographing Matt & Tiffany's wedding day last weekend. They told me the band was a lot of fun and that was an understatement! Three guys who could really "rock"! Their card says..."wiredbandinfo.com" and their from I believe Everett, Washington. Yes they are wired and I'd wholeheartedly recommend them if you're looking for a "fun" band for your event.

Back to Matt & Tiffany...I also had the opportunity to photograph their engagement pictures as well as wedding. They were great to work with and we were able to get some of my "signature" romantic images of them. (This makes both of us very happy.)

Welcome to my first post! I just returned from an all day photography convention in Portland and wanted to get started on my new website and post an image from a recent wedding. I hope you'll leave a comment or two on future posts.
